Former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, on Tuesday, said knowledge remains the most powerful instrument for building a just and prosperous society.
Saraki made the remark on Tuesday at the public presentation of two new books, ‘Behind the City Wall’ and ‘Aminu Dantata and the Life and Times of a Nigerian Entrepreneur’, authored by Munzali Dantata, held at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.
Commending Munzali for his contributions to scholarship, entrepreneurship, and public service, Saraki described him as “a shining example of intellectual excellence and commitment to national development.”
“I am delighted to be here today to celebrate my dear friend and brother, Dr. Munzali Dantata. His works reflect a deep understanding of our society and a lifelong dedication to education and the pursuit of knowledge. These new books are a testament to his restless intellect and passion for progress.”
The event drew a distinguished audience of dignitaries, academics, business leaders, and members of the public who gathered to honour Munzali’s latest literary accomplishment.
Speakers at the occasion praised his intellectual depth, versatility, and dedication to bridging academia, enterprise, and community service.
The ceremony featured book unveilings, reviews, and tributes from colleagues and friends, described by many as not just a literary gathering but a celebration of ideas and nation-building.
Saraki urged young Nigerians to emulate Munzali’s example by blending scholarship with service to humanity.
“Munzali’s work reminds us that knowledge remains the most powerful tool for creating a fair and progressive society,” he said.
